RAWS Association

Welcome

The RAWS Association is an industry body representing the Australian Registered Automotive Workshops. Our members are vehicle importers and provide vehicle compliance services for vehicles listed on the DOTARS Specialist and Enthusiasist Vehicles list (SEVS), predominately Japanese Vehicles and American Vehicles.

Registered Automotive Workshops (RAW) are approved by the Department of Transport and Regional Services (DOTARS), under the Registered Automotive Workshop Scheme.

Each Registered Automotive Workshop is an ISO 9001.2000 compliant company.

The RAWS Association’s members play a vital role in the Australian used vehicle import industry, ensuring the goals of legislation and regulation for both safety and emissions are met for all eligible vehicles.

Members provide compliance and modification services in accordance with the Australian Design Rules applicable to imported vehicles and under the special conditions applied to RAWS vehicles.

In providing compliance services, the RAWS Association members have undertaken to comply with a strict Code of Ethics, ensuring a high level of quality, product and services are provided to their customers.
